Amelia Appart-Hotel
Full apartments, free parking, and room to actually spread out in Tangier.
A place to stay in Tangier
Amelia Appart-Hotel sits in Tangier, Morocco, and runs as a self-catering property where every unit is a complete apartment — private kitchen, private bathroom, living area — rather than a standard hotel room. Rates start from €70 per night. With 486 guest ratings averaging 8.9/10, the place draws attention for its staff, cleanliness, and comfort. Free on-site parking is included, which is a practical advantage in Tangier. The 24-hour front desk means arrivals at odd hours are not a problem.
Who'll feel at home here
Full apartment living with a proper kitchen, free parking, and consistent upkeep — not a hotel with extra amenities bolted on.
Best for
- Families who need multiple bedrooms
- Self-catering travellers
- Groups wanting a shared living space
- Longer stays where cooking matters
Less suited to
- Travellers wanting on-site dining
- Solo guests who prefer compact hotel rooms
Apartments, not hotel rooms
Every unit at Amelia is a standalone apartment with a private kitchen, dining area, sofa, flat-screen TV, and its own bathroom. The kitchens include a stovetop, oven, dishwasher (in select units), electric kettle, coffee machine, and full kitchenware — enough to cook properly.
Space by bedroom count
The three apartment sizes run from 50 m² for a one-bedroom up to 110 m² for the three-bedroom. The larger units have balconies with city views over Tangier, which gives them a different feel from the standard room options.
City views and balconies
The two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments each include a balcony or terrace with a city view. It is not a rooftop setting, but having an outdoor space at that price point in Tangier is a reasonable bonus for stays of more than a couple of nights.
Practical in-building facilities
Free on-site parking, a washing machine, dryer, drying rack, and ironing facilities make longer visits workable without hunting for external services. The 24-hour front desk handles late check-ins.
